Food allergies are some of the most common allergies in dogs.
These reactions happen when your dog’s body does not recognise or accept the protein in a food, and to fight it off and expel it their immune system is activated. Usually these proteins are found in one or other of the foods that your dog habitually receives.
The symptoms of a food allergy and of atopic dermatitis are very similar, and they occur around the same parts of your dog’s body.
